We made it out to Corner Crest tree farm in North Plains today! I was a bit worried as it had started snowing but also confident in Ron's ability to deal with the roads if he thought he could.

We made it! 
Barely that is, there was one spot where we stopped on a hill and got stuck! We had to pretty much slide back down and then start up again. When we got there, their driveway was totally covered and I was more than a bit nervous. These are my wide freaked out eyes I think.
Akasha did NOT like the cold or snow. 
Luckily this is a tree farm some friends of ours recently bought, so our plan was to hang out inside while Ron and Orion got the tree. But as soon as Orion got inside and saw all the toys, it ended up Ron going alone! So much for our family tree adventure LOL. It was really great to chat with Tanya for a bit though.Akasha says, "I like this place!"
Well, the tree got chopped down and attached to the top of the car with no pictures whatsoever! I'm sure we'll get some at home. It is a Grand and Ron says it is lovely. The roads were way worse on the way home. It was crazy how much they changed in such a short time! We stopped at the little coffee hut back near the freeway and spotted this little guy on the counter:
Poor little dude better get inside somewhere before he freezes!

I'm so glad you guys came up to our farm! (And also that you made it back down again safely!) It was really nice to talk and let the kids play and meet Akasha.
