Llama Farm

Even though we are going camping later today, I couldn't resist going out to this farm with several of our friends. The place sounded too great to miss with llamas and labyrinths. And it turns out it is for sale! So I was all excited to see if it might work for our a cohousing property.

Well, it turned out to be just one llama, but the kids still had fun feeding it. And the property was much further from the freeway than I realized, so that would be out for Ron for sure, but I would be tempted to buy it on our own if we could afford it!

Kids feeding the llama apple branches.

Lovely willow on the property, and that is a part of a creek it is next to. The owner told us it is one of the only creeks in the area still clean enough to support turtle life, and it is supposedly full of them, although we didn't get a chance to go down there.

There was even a little swingset on the lawn!

Ellie was Orion's best friend of the day as she brought these awesome gluten and dairy free muffins. I had a hard time keeping him from eathing the whole bag!
Tatiana trying a plum...
...that wasn't quite ripe LOL. The property has so many fruits and vegetables growing, the owner said you can harvest something 12 months out of the year!
Daredevil.
