Mother's Day

My friend Lyla had some interesting musings about Mother's day, mainly to do with how she didn't expect her kids to do special things for her just because it was some prescribed day, and about how she loves doing things for them every day.

So I thought it was funny when Orion had total resistance to the concept. In the morning we talked about what Mother's Day meant. Very jokingly and over the top I said, "It means you have to do whatever I want all day long and give me hugs and kisses whenever I ask!!!!" He just looked at me with a scowl and said no way. Guess his internal sense of doing what he feels is intact. Oh, and so is his counterwill LOL.
