Family Fun!

We haven't seen pics like this in awhile! OK, so it's a Trader Joe's mix, but at least I baked a cake! It was the recipe on the side of their new gluten free pancake mix, and to be honest, it wasn't very good if you were wondering. The pancakes it makes are fine though. And the batter was pretty tasty!

Then it was on to the Wilsonville Family Fun Center. We were overdue to take Orion out for some good fun, and I figured he was old enough to give mini golf a swing. hahaha

My little squirrel and moose.
He loved mini golf! Here he is getting a lesson...
...and here he is doing it his own way. :)
If you look closely, you will notice the club is held so that he is hitting the ball with the end... because it is always all about the pointiest part of course. And he liked to swing it right from the middle of his body.

And here is a bit more on the theme of doing it his way:

Lovely golf course architecture
Posing in front of the pretty tree
The many faces of Orion...

He was so excited about learning to do taco tongue!
A boy and his club.

Snow cone time! That hand belongs to nobody we know, but I thought it made a cool picture. The real point, though, was what the heck is toxic waste flavor?!
Patiently waiting. That girl behind him seems to be having a reeeeeally hard time deciding on flavors... and I refuse to make any off color comments even though I laughed my head off when I first say this picture.
Icy goodness!
But the highlight of the day was by far the cars. He has been talking about them ever since. Here they are waiting.
Anticipatory close up.
Go, go, go!

Another zoom in to see the happy!
And then it was arcade time!
Daddy says, "Kill, kill, kill!" Come on, they're just donkey teeth.
Who is that strange, alien looking boy? Just thought this picture was odd and looks nothing like him.
And this is where Akasha spent her day. :)
Best score ever from arcade tickets! I have always wanted some fuzzy dice, and purple ones are the best thing ever!

Glad Orion had so much fun. The fuzzy purple dice totally cracked me up!

That 3rd picture down of Orion's eyes! Gorgeous :)

Looks like a great time.

I can't ever get enough of pictures of Akasha, too.
