Grappling and Dinner

My double titles sure come out funny together...

This morning we went to see Lyla and Corina in their submission wrestling tournament. Ron has a pretty bad cold but wanted to go anyways. We got to see Corina, but then Ron kindof crashed, so we took off before the women started. It was a crackup to see Ron yelling advice to all the kids. He is going to be a crazy sports dad. Orion, on the other hand, was much more interested in the play structure outside.

We had a dinner planned for Ron's Birthday and our Anniversary. We almost cancelled it since Ron is feeling so crappy, but he decided to nap and medicate and go for it. It sure was worth it! The place is called Ringside. I had seen it once on a Top 10 Steak Houses list for the whole US! Everything was wonderful. We had a scallop appetizer that was divine, and Ron pronounced his giant chunk of meat one of the best he ever had. My salmon was also perfect and we had a couple naughty desserts to top it off. And Orion had a great time with Samantha, one of the girls that works in the childcare room at our church, so the evening was an all around success!
