Fossils and a Rock

Funny title for two things that actually have nothing to do with each other, except that they are both related to our recent trip.

We picked up one of these fake fossil things at the aquarium, and it completely entranced Orion. Here he is showing the partially exposed shell.
And then he decided to go after it on the backside.
He liked it so much I got to thinking I would love to find out if I could make him more of them at home!

And this is one of the rocks we brought home from the Chetco River. It is so amazing I had to take a picture of it. It looks like a little package tied up with string - crazy!
