So the melatonin is still working like a charm. We have even been letting Orion sleep until whenever he wakes up, and he still goes right to sleep at night. No hint of nightmares and no other side effects as far as we can tell. It also seems that his behavior has been less intense during the day.... Just a little here and there. He definitely seems to be waking up in a better mood. Maybe it is because he is getting more sleep or maybe we are just looking for it....
Lately, when he wakes up I have started saying, "Welcome to the Day!" He seems to really like that. I told Ron about it, and then when he said it one day, Orion responded, "Oh, that's my favorite." :) It was also very cute when he said it to Akasha the other day. She is usually awake before him, but she had been up and fallen back asleep before he was up for the first time! So he had the opportunity to say it to her - super duper cute!
