In Praise of Six Month Olds

In the other news of the day, Akasha is six months old!!!! I found this picture on Ron's blog and wanted to post it because I don't think it was on here before (think it was from his phone).

These pictures were also taken at Corner Crest, but they were so darn cute, I decided to make them part of this post. :)Gotta love the outfit LOL. We don't have a snowsuit, but at least we went with baby legs over a jumper for an extra layer.


Where does the time go? I can't believe it has been six months since this sweet little girl came into being. She is such a happy spirit and will smile at just about anybody that catches her eye. Her favorite things are cuddling with mama, watching her brother and digging her fingers into daddy's beard and pulling as hard as she can! Oh, and she is really starting to be interested in Kona as well, who is putting up with much whisker and ear tugging in exchange for sneaking milk laden drool by pretending to give doggy kisses. She is just starting to sit up and will balance for several seconds now before falling over (one of Orion's favorite things). She doesn't seem too interested in crawling, but it honestly seems to me because she is content and not very interested in going anywhere! She still only has two teeth, which is unexpected since her first two came at three months like her brother's. He got all 8 of his incisors right in a row, so we expected Akasha to do the same, but she is poking along with just two! It is her "talking" skills that have us amazed all the time. Cute little Gemini girl is just full of jabber. We really should be taking more video!

I asked Orion if he had anything to say about his six month old sister, and his answer was, "Nothing!"
