O: Will the earth live forever?
Me: (pondering all the ways of looking at that and wondering what he was getting at) Hmmm, yeah, I suppose it will.
O: What if i giant meteor crashes into it?!
Me: Ah. Well, there really aren't meteors that big I don't think, and they usually mostly burn up in the atmosphere. (And deciding not to go into the fact that there would probably be *something* left, even if there was no life on it.)
O: Well, better call the president!
Hmmm, does he know something we don't?
